Presenting the latest iteration of Champagne perfection, according to Michel Fauconnet, cellar master at the historic Laurent-Perrier Champagne house. This is the 26th iteration of Grand Siècle and it’s a blend of the 2012 (65%), 2008 (25%) and 2007 (10%) vintages. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from prime Grand Cru vineyards across the region, the wine was aged on its lees for 10 years before disgorgement, giving an exceptionally rich, yeasty and zesty wine. Named to honour the reign of Louis XIV in the 17th century, Grand Siècle evokes that great period of French history which produced fine art, the concept of fine dining, and the process of adding sparkle to wine.
