Valle Central

Crisp, grassy fresh and intensely fruity, this is great value, cool climate Chilean Sauvignon. It’s from Spain’s Solís family, who craft wine in six Spanish regions, and have chosen Chile as the home of their first foray into winemaking overseas.

What do you get if you cross generations of Spanish winemaking experience with verdant Chilean vineyards, nourished by pure, crystal clear snowmelt from the mighty Andes mountains? You get this deeply refreshing, great value Sauvignon Blanc. It’s the first release from a new venture that sees Felix Solís – representing the third generation of one of Spain’s most famous winemaking families – crafting mouthwatering wines in Chile’s viticultural paradise. Felix came across his plot of Sauvignon vines on the banks of the River Teno in the Valle Central, where breezes from the Pacific and the Andes cool the hand harvested vines. Grapes are then cold fermented to achieve the intense fruit character that makes this wine such a refreshing apéritif.
