Hervé Fabre left his native Bordeaux in the 1990s in search of new and exciting wine territory to invest in. He was heading for Chile but was side-tracked by old Malbec vineyards in Argentina and there he stayed. He now runs a leading estate in Mendoza, and another in Patagonia too. For his efforts he’s won a string of national and international Golds and Trophies as well as earning 90+ scores from top critic Robert Parker. Malbec was his first love, but now he’s proved just how good Argentina’s mountain cooled climate is for crisp whites. Made from hand-picked, low yield Chardonnay grapes from Luján de Cuyo and Tupungato, this wine is cool fermented to emphasise its pure fruit freshness. A fine choice for white meats, seafood or a risotto.
