This refreshing white is made purely from Macabeo and is unoaked to highlight its zippy, fresh fruit. It’s organic and vegan friendly too. Wine Orbit scored it with 90 points: “The wine is delicately fragrant on the nose showing lemon/lime, green apple, dried grass and subtle oatmeal characters. It is juicy and vibrant on the palate, delivering linear mouthfeel and crisp acidity.” It’s made by the Castaño family, who are pioneers in Yecla, one of Spain’s smallest wine regions. We’ve known them for over a decade and their wines are exceptional both for quality and value. Exactly the type of wine that will tempt lovers of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. Chill and enjoy on its own or with a green salad, sautéed chicken and lemony noodles.
