We have many Pinot Grigio fans, so our Buyers always keep a sharp lookout for a new star. This is a top buy from Moldova, a country that once supplied wine to the Russian Tsars. Now the pick of the wineries are being thoroughly brought up to date, and are producing fabulous, bright, fruity, fresh wines like this one. It's from Albastrele which won best winery for 2020. Budburst Pinot Grigio shows the excellent winemaking conditions of Moldova. Bright sunshine and biting winds keep vines healthy and produce lots of intense flavour in the grapes. Our Buyer is a champion of Moldova and certainly recommends the lemon and mineral freshness of this elegant white. Best enjoyed well chilled on its own or served with fish dishes or creamy risotto.
