Brezza Bianca Frizzante Prosecco NV

Prosecco DOC

A refreshing Prosecco in a frizzante style (a more gentle fizz than Spumante). It’s from a boutique winery run by the Tombacco family. Thanks to its lemony character and soft mousse, it's ideal to enjoy as an aperitif or for celebrations.

We're always on the lookout for a new source of high-quality Prosecco and were delighted when an old friend put us in contact with the Tombacco family. The estate was founded a century ago by Battista Tombacco, grandfather of current owners Cristian and Andrea. This frizzante is crafted from their estate grown Glera grapes, gently pressed prior to a slow fermentation. Cristian then left the wine on its lees for 20 days for extra layers of creamy complexity to balance the citrus notes, before adding the sparkle. Then, in true frizzante style, it's sealed with the traditional cork and "spago" (string, in Italian). Enjoy wonderful apple, lemon and tropical fruit flavour. Serve well chilled as an aperitif any time, or with light dishes.

"Not too much fizz, not too sweet. I’d celebrate the opening of the fridge door with this!" 5-Star Online Review
