Atakarma Viognier is pure refreshment – a lively white with lots of character and charm. It’s from the family-owned Luis Felipe Edwards winery, that was founded in 1976 in Puquillay, Colchagua. The family started with 60 hectares, while today they own a whole valley. They are renowned for wines that represent both great quality and value. Nicolas Bizzarri is the award-winning winemaker, a wizard that captures all the freshness of this grape, along with a pleasing tropical ripeness. Chill the wine down and pour generously – it makes a great glass on its own, as well as being a tasty partner with food: pan-fried fish, fennel risotto, a creamy chicken pie or well-spiced stir-fry.
