Just in 2019, Decanter named Sebastián Zuccardi Top Winemaker of Argentina. He has a wealth of experience, having spent seven years working abroad, before taking over from his father José Alberto in 2009. “The result has been a remarkable transformation in the winery’s focus and fortunes” (Decanter), and it was already blazing a trail. Sebastián is the third generation of the family in wine – grandfather Don Alberto started the business in the 1950s, firstly in irrigation, then in vines. Their dedication to quality has helped put Argentina’s wines at the forefront of the world stage. Alambrado is proof of their expertise – a crisp, aromatic white, combining Argentina’s Torrontés with crisp Pinot Grigio. Enjoy with fish or a spicy stir-fry.
