More information
Historic Dundee Hills lies within Oregon’s Willamette Valley, just 40 kilometres inland from the Pacific. It’s here in 1965 that David Lett planted vines and produced world famous Eyrie Pinot Noir. Famously, at the 1979 Gault-Millau French Wine Olympiades Eyrie came in the top three, beating many of the finest Burgundies! The region suits the finicky Pinot Noir grape to a tee. Inside Track is an outstanding, one-off parcel discovered by our Buyer. Its winery name is top secret but we can assure you it’s one of the best – only the finest cellars are using biodynamic methods – and in return for this anonymity, you get an amazing deal. The wine is full of ripe cherry, rose petal, damson with lovely savoury length. Delicious now or for ageing.
