Meet our first winery of the year

In a year like 2021, there could be only one winner … enjoy the 5-star whites that made them so loved for JUST £7.99 a bottle

Meet our first winery of the year

What makes a Winery of the Year? That was the question when we decided to launch this award. And the more we talked, the more every answer led us to Journey’s End.

First and foremost, of course, they had to be making world class wines that our customers adore. Journey’s End knock it out of the park on that front.

Fruity, floral Bees Knees has been a smash hit bestseller for years. Whilst gloriously honeyed luxury edition Queen Bee boasts 5-star reviews galore. And new release St Sebastian Bay brings intense Sauvignon citrus and cut grass. You can enjoy them all in today’s mix for just £7.99 a bottle. Super value.

But this year the award’s also for going beyond just brilliant winemaking, and what the team at Journey’s End have done has been an inspiration.

Last year the winery set up The Journey’s End Foundation to provide 10,000 meals a week to people who most need them. To date they’ve provided over half a million. What makes Journey’s End’s efforts all the more astonishing is that they’ve done it at a time when South African wine has been under more pressure than ever.

But when we ask how we can help, they say the same thing: “just keep us in mind – if people enjoy our wines, that’s enough.”

The repeat orders prove that you do. But with this award – and special price on a 12-bottle mix of their gorgeous whites – we want to give Journey’s End an extra fanfare. Winery of the Year, easily.
