Chat with Vinny
Continuing the fine run of recent form, the Viña Tondonia Reserva 2009
release is a must have wine for lovers of the traditionally styled Riojas
for which this estate is famed.
The Bosconia Reserva is also from the 2009 vintage. Packaged
in a Burgundy bottle, this gives an insight into the more rounded,
smoother character from this cuvée. At just £125 per 6 IB with scores
rivaling its more classically styled older brother, we expect this to sell well.
The third and final release from this historic estate is the Cubillo Crianza
2012. With the same 93-point score as the Tondonia 2009 from Luiz
Gutiérrez and one point less than the Bosconia from Suckling, it’s another
hugely attractive wine and easily one of our best pounds-to points
releases of the year so far.
