What options do I have if I have purchased tickets for a cancelled event due to COVID-19?
Customers who have purchased tickets to the Cardiff Roadshow or Vintage Festival 2020 are entitled to change their current tickets to one of the following options:
1. Refund on tickets (and any charge for posting the brochure where applicable) via the original transaction method
2. Credit ticket value (and any charge for posting the brochure where applicable)on to account with an additional £20 voucher per order (one voucher per order)
3. Transfer to one of the following events:
Will my ticket still be valid?
No, if your request is to swap tickets for an alternative event (Festival or Roadshow), we will reissue the event information available for this.
Do I need to do anything?
No - If you've already received your ticket please dispose.

Do Unlimited customer receive a discount on tickets?
Unlimited customers are entitled to a discount of 20% on up to 4 full price tickets for Roadshow or Vintage Festival Wine Tastings. The discount is not applicable to any already discounted tickets such as earlybird or Confrère and is not applicable to any wine and dinner evenings.
Will you send me a ticket?
For the majority of our events you will not get a physical ticket. You will be sent an e-ticket which we ask you to bring with you to the event – if you cannot find this please check your spam folder or get in touch with us on 03330 142 776.
The only events we send you a ticket are the following:
The Sunday Times Wine Club Vintage Festival,
Live London and
Tickets for each of these events will usually arrive with you from around 2 weeks before the date of the event.
Am I able to cancel my ticket (s)?
Tickets are valid only for the date and time booked. If you are unable to attend the event you have booked, please contact us immediately.
Please note that for our standard events, we will issue you a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the event. However, if you cancel less than 14 days before the event, we will only issue you a full refund if we are able to resell your ticket prior to the event.
For our Wine and Dinner Evenings, including those at Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons, The George of Stamford and Westminster Abbey, we will issue you a full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before the event. However, if you cancel less than 30 days before the event, we will only issue you a full refund if we are able to resell your ticket prior to the event.

The event I want to go to is marked as sold out or has disappeared from the website?
If the tasting is marked as sold out or has disappeared from the website it is highly likely that we cannot physically accept any more people at the event. Do get in touch with us on 03330 142 776 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as we might be able to put you on a waiting list.
Can you buy tickets on the door?
No, unfortunately we are unable to sell tickets to our events on the door. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
Am I able to buy tickets to an event as a gift?
We do sell event gift vouchers that will be sent to you to personalise that can be redeemed against event tickets. These are for sale on the events section of the website here or call 03330 142 776.
One of our group will not be drinking do they still have to pay for a ticket?
We allow non drinking guests to attend our events free of charge. They will still need to be registered with us so please contact 03330 142 776 or email email@example.com to let us know they are coming. You will not be able to register non drinking guests on the website as you will be asked to pay for the ticket.
Can I bring under someone under 18 to the event?
We have a strict no admittance policy to anyone under
18 years old, including babes in arms and pushchairs. We reserve the right to ask for photographic identification with proof of age.
The start time of the event will be shown on your ticket / e-ticket as well as on the online event listing. The doors will not open before this time. You are of course welcome to join us anytime during the tasting once the doors are open.
Do I need to know anything about wine?
Definitely not! All of our staff and wine producers behind the tables know about the wines and will be able to answer any questions you have as well as tell you about the wines at the tasting.
Spit or swallow?
Lots of people worry that they will have to spit the wine out when they come to a wine tasting. This is not the case at all. We do provide spittoons but you are more than welcome to drink the samples – the choice is yours.
Will the wine makers speak English?
The beauty of our events is that we get wine producers attending from all over the world. For some of them English may not be their first language but they will all have a jolly good go at it. Our staff are very good at translating as well as having an understanding of the subject, so please do ask – no one will be offended.
What should I wear?
You can wear what you want to our events from your best bib and tucker to your comfy home tracksuit; however we do suggest comfortable shoes. We do not allow costumes or fancy dress items at any of our events so please leave these at home.
Will there be somewhere to sit?
We always have somewhere to sit at our events. The amount of seating may vary but there will be somewhere to perch and read the wine list and complete an order form should you wish.
When will the event finish?
The finish time of the event will be marked on your e-ticket / ticket, and unfortunately we have to be very strict on this.
Is there disabled access at the event?
We aim to make all of our events accessible to everyone. However if you have specific needs please contact us on 03330 142 776 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to give you more information on access arrangements at the venue.
Can I order wine on the night?
Of course! If you would like to place an order for wine delivery at the event our staff will be happy to help. Each of our events will have unique offers detailed in the wine list given to you at the event. Orders can be processed on the night by visiting the orders and information desk. After the event please contact 03330 142 776 or email@example.com to place an order. Event offers will expire one week after the event unless otherwise stated in the wine list.
Photographs at the event
We often have a professional photographer present our events. The photographs/videos may be used for marketing and promotion in our publications and on our digital channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let the event organisers know.

We would love to come and visit all of our customers but there is just too much of the UK for us to cover! Our programme does change year on year so keep an eye on the website and our page in the mailing.
