There’s the complex, dark-fruit-and-spice 15-year-old Tamdhu from Speyside, finished in sherry cask, and the sublime 18-year-old Ledaig from the Isle of Mull, with its smoky peatiness, floral hints and sweet malty notes. Plus, Glenfiddich’s magnificent 21-year-old Gran Reserva, lightly tropical from finishing in Caribbean rum casks.
