This is the sister wine to our Visionario Bianco, both made by the talented, motorcycle loving winemaker Alessandro Gallici. For this rosato, he has chosen the native Refosco - a grape praised by Pliny the Elder and adored by Scribonia, second wife of Augustus Caesar. Today it makes deeply coloured, weighty reds and, with its freshness, it's also ideal for rosé. A little drop of Merlot and a splash of Pinot Noir has added a hint of creamy plum and raspberry. You can be assured of delightful freshness in the wine thanks to the climate of the region, which is locally referred to as 'air conditioned'. The result is unforgettably pure and intense. Delicious solo, it's great, too, with salmon, chicken, prawns or spring vegetable risotto.
