Pick up any wine reference book and you'll see Amarone wines described in glowing terms. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate calls Amarone "one of the unique and noble wines in the world". When a group of friends passionate about wine resolved to create the greatest example of all, they poured everything into it. They selected the very best grapes from the most prestigious vineyards and hired the leading craftsmen. Every bunch was meticulously hand picked then air dried for more than a month to concentrate flavour and richness before fermentation and 18 months in finest oak barrels. The result is a powerful wine of exceptional smoothness and complexity, one you should decant and serve with rich bistro dishes such as wild boar casserole.
